Protek

I joined the team at Protek as the only developer (I was replacing the previous developer). As a result, I had to learn the internals of the system quickly and with limited help. The project was based upon ASP.Net Webforms which I got to modernising, implementing WebApi 2 and React to help increase the speed and UX of the site as well as the efficiency of the team.

I joined this company as a Junior developer where I was tasked to work as a full-stack developer to helped implement new and innovative features and tools to assist customers with their finances. I also help maintain and keep our various databases up to date. This role primarily uses ASP.Net, MVC 5, C++, C# and SQL. After 6 months, I was promoted from Junior developer to mid-level developer due to my passion and previous programming experience.
Volunteer LUA Developer, Battlefield 3: Reality Mod

With a group of 19 other volunteers, I worked to develop new features to create a realistic mod for Battlefield 3 that end users will directly interact with to the standard of that of a AAA game developer. One of the main tasks I worked on for Reality Mod was drastically improving the audio of the game to allow for a more immersive experience but also to gives player more information about what happening on the other side of the map. We focused mainly on C++ and game engine development but also had multiple units on Unity and Unreal Engine 4.
