After gaining valuable experience from both Protek and Selectapension, I joined Argentex as part of a large team expansion. So far I have learnt a lot here about Dev Ops, serverless functions (Azure) and much more that I'm confident will aid me in my career in the future.
Protek
Oct 2022 - May 2023
I joined the team at Protek as the only developer (I was replacing the previous developer). As a result, I had to learn the internals of the system quickly and with limited help. The project was based upon ASP.Net Webforms which I got to modernising, implementing WebApi 2 and React to help increase the speed and UX of the site as well as the efficiency of the team.

I joined this company as a Junior developer where I was tasked to work as a full-stack developer to helped implement new and innovative features and tools to assist customers with their finances. I also help maintain and keep our various databases up to date. This role primarily uses ASP.Net, MVC 5, C++, C# and SQL. After 6 months, I was promoted from Junior developer to mid-level developer due to my passion and previous programming experience.
Volunteer LUA Developer, Battlefield 3: Reality Mod

With a group of 19 other volunteers, I worked to develop new features to create a realistic mod for Battlefield 3 that end users will directly interact with to the standard of that of a AAA game developer. One of the main tasks I worked on for Reality Mod was drastically improving the audio of the game to allow for a more immersive experience but also to gives player more information about what happening on the other side of the map. Together, with a few students, we came a long way in developing a complex and marketable app. As the only developer, my duty was to find and implement new technologies into the app to help users achieve their goals.

Studying here for three years, I undertook a diverse number of modules including audio design, AI for games, as well as two separate units in which I was taught to use Scrum and Agile and how the methodologies would be used in a professional environment. We focused mainly on C++ and game engine development but also had multiple units on Unity and Unreal Engine 4.

Sundermead
May 2021 - Present
Sundermead, developed in the Unity Game Engine, began as simple project that would combine the game design of Minecraft and Stardew Valley. As time went on, it began to grow into something of its own. It is now a procedurally generated, open-world RPG in which the Anglo-Saxon gods have sent you to the Island of "Sundermead" to create a settlement.

This website was built as an easy-to-access version of my curriculum vitae & portfolio; showcasing my experience, achievements and projects that I've worked on over the years. I built this web app to help myself come up with a list of presents to buy for Christmas 2022. It was built over 2 weeks. The front-end is built using Bootstrap & Blazor (WASM) to allow me to host it as an SPA using Firebase. As mentioned, the backend for this app was built using Firebase, this includes hosting, web-functions and their no-SQL realtime database.

U-BSP (FMP)

This project was to take up the majority of the criteria for my final grade. The idea was a level editor that BSP brushes to make the design, prototype and iteration process of level design much easier. Technically, my tool actually uses CSG and not BSP but more often than not, the two terms are interchangeable and BSP is a more widely known term.
